Our Statement of Faith provides a clear and unequivocal declaration of our belief.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God and is our supreme and final authority in faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20, 21).
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, 26; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1, 3; John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man (Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; Romans 9:5).
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and he disobeyed God and sinned; thereby incurring physical death and spiritual death, which is separation from God. As a result of this we believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature (Genesis 1:26, 27; Genesis 3:1-24; Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:8).
We believe that the Lord Jesus died for our sins according to the scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice. We believe He rose victoriously on the third day; and that all who believe in Him are justified and made righteous on the grounds of His shed blood (Isaiah 53; Matthew 20:28; John 3:16; Romans 3:24-26; Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 1:7; 1 John 2:2).
We believe that all who come by grace through faith to accept the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God (John 1:12, 13; John 3:3, 5; Ephesians 2:8, 9; James 1:18; 1 Peter 1:23).
We believe that as Christians we are to meet together regularly for worship, ordinances, and the encouragement of each other (Hebrews 10:24, 25; Acts 2:42, 46, 47a).
