By our Covenant, we declare our Love of God and commitment to one another.
In the presence of God and witnesses we confess our reverent love of God our Heavenly Father, our faith in Jesus Christ our Savior, and our willingness to be guided by the Holy Spirit. We promise as members to uphold the statement of faith of this church. We will give ourselves unreservedly to its service and take this to be our church, to walk together with other members of this church, as Christian brothers and sisters, obedient to the teachings of the Holy Scriptures and to submit to the government and discipline of this church.
We promise that so far as we are able, we will attend the services of this church, participate in its sacraments, share in its work, support its benevolences, and endeavor to make it a fruitful body of Christians.
We believe that Christ is the only Head of His Church and that two or three people gathered in His name do constitute a true church. We do promise and agree to do all in our power to advance the Kingdom of God. We affirm the absolute autonomy of this Congregational church, which retains within this church all legislative and judicatory powers affecting any aspect of its life and work.
We do this for the glory of God, for the good of our fellow members, for our mutual growth in Christian grace, and to reach out in faith, fellowship, and service in the spirit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
